What is the nise project?

The nise project was started in September of 2007, and grew mainly for two reasons;
the Great British weather and, sociological demise of our great nation.
Initially founded by Ben Durnan-Fletcher, the nise project was launched and within just two months already managed to procure enough capital to rent its first premises and begin construction on the first ramp!

After several electric skate jam’s and many a can of evil water based beverages, new designs and donations started to become available to the now established nise team.
After help and hard work from not only the nise team but also, the Nottingham Skateboard Community, funding and construction began on what is the nise team’s biggest achievement………..”Sid Vicious the second”

In February of 2008 a newly constructed indoor facility was born, free from the ever imposing ASBO clad youth of today, and ready to help promote the brilliance of “Whizz Planking” throughout Nottinghamshire. After continious hard work and development from the nise team we have started to evolve. We are now proud to announce that nise as we know it now has its own hardware and apparel arm....................nise skateboards. We are now able to offer the skateboarders of Nottingham and the rest of the U.K an indoor facility to use and also a full range of skateboard necessities that have been designed and tested by our very own team.

All profits made by the nise team are directly put inot the nise project, hopefully with enough hard work and generosity from the skateboard commiunity our goal will be met......................an indoor park worthy of the Nottingham skateboard scene.
